What started as a father creating garb for his children quickly grew into a passion for history, craftsmanship, and adventure. Today, Vildnfri is a family-run business dedicated to providing high-quality, historically inspired Viking, medieval, and fantasy garb and gear. We’ve been where you are. In 2019, J’s daughter Trinadee challenged him to craft his own Viking garb when he couldn’t find high-quality, affordable costumes for his kids for Halloween. That challenge sparked something greater—an unshakable passion for craftsmanship, history, and adventure.

Born from a passion for history and craftsmanship, Vildnfri creates and curates battle-ready Viking shields, handcrafted leather goods, historical garb, and warrior-worthy accessories. Every piece is designed to help you step fully into your character, your adventure, and your legend.
