Legal Stuff: Know Your Local Laws

If you place an order shipping to an address where the item you ordered is illegal, we will cancel your order. It’s your responsibility to be aware of local laws and follow them. We want your adventures to be fun and lawful!

Currently, orders shipping to the UK are not accepted. If you have questions, just reach out to us at info@vildnfri.com.

How Long Will It Take?

We’re a small crew: J (the Owner and Viking captain) plus a handful of part-time helpers handle everything from packing to shipping. Because of that, order fulfillment usually takes 2 to 5 business days.

Sometimes it might take a bit longer—especially when J is out conquering Viking Festivals, Renaissance Faires, or other events. When that happens, we might wait to ship your order until he returns from the weekend. We promise: we ship as fast as we can while making sure everything is perfect.

Stock Status & Shipping Details

• In-stock items are ready to go from our small Viking outpost and usually ship within the usual 2-5 day window.

• If your order contains multiple items with different availability, we’ll wait to ship everything together. Want to split the shipment? Just ask! (Heads up: splitting shipments may add extra shipping costs.)

• We ship within the U.S. via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, and every order is insured for safe delivery.

• You’ll get an email with tracking info as soon as your package ships—feel free to obsessively refresh that tracking page; we totally get it.

Shipping Costs

You can see shipping costs on our website during checkout by entering your shipping address. As a heads-up, sword shipments within the contiguous 48 states typically cost around $18.50, but costs vary by weight and size.

For most shipments, the max shipping cost you’ll pay to home or business addresses in the contiguous 48 states is $45. PO Boxes are a special case and might exceed that maximum.

If the final shipping cost differs significantly from the estimate, we’ll contact you before shipping to go over your options.

International Orders

All prices are in US dollars.

International shipments must comply with local laws. It’s your responsibility to check what you can legally order and receive in your country.

We ship international orders by FedEx, USPS Airmail, or UPS—whichever works best. Taxes, duties, and import fees may apply, and you might have to pay those upon delivery. If you don’t pay these fees and the package is returned to us, we’ll refund your order minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.

If your government declares the item abandoned because duties are unpaid and returning it is too costly, unfortunately, no refund will be possible.

Oops and Quality Checks

We’re big on quality. Before shipping, each item gets a thorough inspection and our signature brown-paper wrap to protect your gear.

Sometimes, we find an item that doesn’t meet our standards or isn’t where we thought it was in our inventory. If that happens, we’ll contact you with options: discounted pricing, wait for restock, or a full refund.
